Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Weekend retreat at Cuyohoga Valley in northern Ohio included a stay at the historic Standford House inside the park, four hikes with a group of ladies from the Hikerbabes Community, and a ride on the historic Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad.

A four day backpacking / camping trip to Northwest Michigan’s Manistee River loop. A 23 mile loop saw many elevation changes and scenic views of the river.
Porcupine Mountains
Nestled along Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, this backpacking trip included a hike around Little Carp River, along Lake Superior, around Big Carp River, and ending at Lily Pond.
Ozark Mountains
A short trip to Lake of the Ozarks Osage Beach area. A day hike through the many connecting short trails of the Ha Ha Tonka State Park, a tour through Bridal Cave, and a beautiful day kayaking the Niangua River.
