This park, nestled along the Cuyahoga River in northern Ohio, is gorgeous and boasts stunning views of rock formations, waterfalls, and scenic hiking paths.

I spent three days at the park with a group of ladies from the Hikerbabes Community: Central Indiana Chapter. It was an awesome experience. The weather was wonderful with the exception of the first evening hike that had us caught in a thunderstorm. We toughed it out and completed our five mile hike that evening and returned to the trail the next morning! 

An additional feature of the park is the cute little town of Peninsula, OH that greets visitors at the entrance. It includes a few shops, restaurants, and a train stop along the Cuyahoga Scenic Railway.
