Although Indiana is not home to mountains or oceans, it is host to twenty-four state parks and many other protected nature preserves, lakes, and forests. Many of them with their own beauty and nuances.

I’ve set out to visit all thirty-three parks, our lone national park, and many of our hidden lakes and forests that adorn our landscape. I’m hoping to log each of them as I visit… THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS..  Future plans include filling individual pages with information on each park, its history, and area information along the way.
